Texas Contemporary™ Monthly: Issue 08

The Heartbeat of Texas Contemporary

What began as a descriptor of our distinct architecture and interior design, we realized that the meaning of Texas Contemporary™ ran much deeper than the aesthetics persona of the varied projects we work on across our vast region.

Texas Contemporary™ is also the heartbeat of LEVY DYKEMA. It is what makes us tick and describes the inspiring drive to do great work on every project we touch. It's in the way we talk and move around our special work space we refer to as the Texas Contemporary™ studios.

At the core, it is all about our team. The talented people that strum the creative, architectural strings or beat the drums of fascinating interiors that make LEVY DYKEMA a place of inspiration, productivity and pride.

More than architecture and design, Texas Contemporary™ defines our culture.

Community Connections

The mission of LEVY DYKEMA is to enhance the world around us, providing exceptional design and value to every project. This statement evokes a sense of corporate responsibility, an awareness of community, and a desire to build relationships that matter. In our many years as a business, we sought out avenues with which we could make a difference.

We were fortunate to cross paths with Alan Graham, founder and CEO of Mobile Loaves & Fishes. We are grateful for his personal story of becoming more human through humanizing others. His work has been transformational, with an overarching purpose of making an impact on the world at large through giving people dignity, the power of choice, a genuine community offering solutions.

During this time of giving thanks, in our most humble way, we express our sincerest gratitude to Alan Graham and Mobile Loaves & Fishes for transforming lives and transforming our team by showing us the power of humanity and life's purpose.

Count on our expanded LEVY DYKEMA team's commitment to work alongside you on your purposeful journey, transforming lives, one at a time.

Chemistry Wins.

A message from our President, Stephen V. Levy

It's a new day and a bigger, bolder landscape of architecture and interior design opportunities for LEVY DYKEMA.

Sometimes in life and sometimes in business, things just seem to click in a perfect way that you know is going to create magic...or as the say, "the perfect storm."

Such is the life and times of the winning chemistry at LEVY DYKEMA.

The distinct roles and responsibilities of the three founders of LEVY DYKEMA are neatly described by their talented character and focused energies.

"The Visionary," "The Artiste," and "The Producer." Otherwise known as as Stephen V. Levy, Bibiana (Biby) Dykema and John Dykema, Jr.

Adding to the chemistry of the three founders is a deep team of extraordinary professionals, including principals Jill Pierce, Ryan Begley, and Debbie Norvell, and Studio Directors Mauricio Feldsberg and Rob Garcia, among others.

I am so proud to be surrounded by our motivated team raising the bar of architecture and interiors design excellence.

To quote, Gregg Popovich, legendary coach of the five time NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs...

"TEAM IS EVERYTHING."
