CASE STUDY: The Chamberlain
The Frazier Family Companies, a local Corpus Christi developer, approached LEVY DYKEMA as they were considering buying the historic Chamberlain Building. LEVY DYKEMA was familiar with the building having previously assessed it for a previous owner. Beginning life as a lighthouse in 1857 and serving as the headquarters for H-E-B until 1971, The Chamberlain had been vacant for over 30 years and had gone through multiple stalled attempts to rehabilitate it from multifamily to restaurant to commercial space.

CASE STUDY: Fresa’s
LEVY DYKEMA’s design for the Fresa’s entry makes the restaurant easy to find, and easily identifiable as the next evolution of the Fresa’s brand. Each space feels settled and cohesive, with a sense of discovery as you move through the space. Splashes of deep rouge and muted salmon colors with varied textures, bar tiles from Europe, Moroccan Zellige tile, Terracotta Breeze blocks, and color-rich serape textiles on banquets throughout the restaurant elegantly maintain Fresa’s Hispanic colonial aesthetic. At the same time, the outdoor deck is a great place to relax and take advantage of the Hill Country views. This inviting outdoor space at Fresa’s is a signature feature for diners to enjoy.
